Once again this year the NEIFB will distribute food for a complete Thanksgiving dinner to Food Bank clients.
This 3-day event – extending from Monday, November 23 – Wednesday 25 – requires a massive volunteer effort and supplies food to several thousand families in Northeast Iowa.
St. Luke’s has committed to sending at least 12 people Monday, November 23rd from 12 noon until 3:30 pm. All work will be indoors and entail filling shopping carts and restocking as needed. It would be a grand time to publicly fly St Luke’s colors while performing a rewarding volunteer project. Light to moderate lifting will be required.
